Tee-LineTurf
STI Tee-Line Turf is a great alternative to maintaining a natural grass tee area. Tee-Line Turf looks, feels, and reacts like real grass and will also accept tees and allow the ball to set up naturally. With the sand and rubber infill the tee area is able to be used on a daily basis. No more moving and reseeding the teeing area at your range. Our product is UV stabilized and carries a 5 year warranty.

Tee-Line Turf is also a great replacement for those tee box areas that can not maintain a real grass surface. No irrigation, chemicals or sunlight is needed. It is natural in appearance and you can hit down and through the ball.

EZ Tee
STI added a beautiful and plush, 1" NYLON E Z Tee Material to their product line in 2004 which will take a tee. It is available as E Z Tee mats ( 6' x 6' ) or in 12' x 50' rolls to cover entire tee line areas. It can be infilled however functions beautifully without infill.

EZ Tee 200 is a broadloom tufted nylon with a pile height of 2" and a pile weight of 110 oz./sq yard. The primary backing is a stabilized woven polypropylene and the secondary backing is a 20 oz. urethane. The turf can be used for Tee Line and Hitting Mats. It carries a 2 year limited Warranty. Roll sizes are 12' x 50' (average) Mats can be ordered in 6'x6' Custom Sizes are available

Installation
E Z Tee can be installed over any solid subsurface. The turf does not require any infill, however some of your customers may ask if it is possible to tighten the fibers. You can use any type of silica sand or ceramic micro spheres for an infill. The fibers are very tight and the infill process is difficult. We would recommend that you have two people doing the infill. One person opening the fibers by dragging a 2 x 4 or the back of a concrete rake over the turf. While the other person is dropping in the sand with a shovel. You will only be able to infill the turf small sections at a time.

Concrete: When installed over concrete you may lay the turf directly over the concrete without an adhesive. For a permanent installation adhere it with an indoor-outdoor carpet adhesive.

Grass or Screenings: The turf may lay directly over the sub base for a temporary installation. If the turf is a permanent installation then you need to use landscape staples ever 1' around the perimeter of the turf.

STI recommends infill in the E Z Tee material as it will strengthen the base of the nylon fibres and increase the longevity of your tee line.

Installation Procedure
STI removes the existing grass and compacts the sub-surface. The area is leveled before the turf is laid out. The turf is usually be supplied in 12’ widths therefore any custom widths are cut on site. The Tee-Line Turf is positioned so the nap of the fiber on all of the rolls are facing the same direction. The seams can be put together by sewing or using a seaming iron. Next the infill of sand and rubber is a five (5) step process. First fill the turf 3/8” full of rubber, then the same of sand and then rubber, sand, and finish with rubber, leaving approximately _” of the fibers exposed.
