STI target greens can quickly be installed at a low cost to the driving range and even be placed over existing greens. Minimal maintenance is required after the installation and the ball will react naturally. The landing surface is constructed to minimize ball motion and reduce bounce on impact. Target greens are perforated for drainage and ball pickers can drive directly over the greens. STI provides four (4) different colors of range turf to emulate fairways, water hazards, bunkers, and greens.
Target greens are designed with proper slopes for realistic ball approach and can be designed in any size and shape. They are designed to hold the ball. By utilizing sand white or water blue throughout the range the color variations give authenticity to the total golf range experience.

Installation
Range turf can either sewn or seamed together. The seaming process is not nearly as critical as a putting green because the range surface is covered with sand. Once the green is shaped and seamed it is filled with sand in multiple layers exposing only a half an inch of the actual turf.. The turf will take approximately 4-5 pounds of sand per sq. ft. If there are any other colors of range turf along the target greens they require seaming before any sand is applied. |
